Beckham wishes to take part in the 2018 World Cup

The 32-year-old football star, David Beckham, would be very much pleased and honored to form part of and participate in the 2018 World Cup if he were asked to do so by the Football Association.

So far he has not yet been confirmed to take part as an ambassador, but would like to do the same as he did in the 2012 Olympics where he lend London a hand in capturing a victory.

For Beckham the fact of having the World Cup based in London is very significant and meaningful to him and he deeply desires to be involved in any and every way he can. He told press reporters, "I was proud to be involved in 2012 and being involved in 2018 is something I would be interested in."

According to the prime minister having Beckham involved is a good idea and also stated the following, "David Beckham is known in every part of the world. It's a matter for the FA but I'm sure David Beckham will be associated with every big sports campaign that happens in this country because of his reputation, and because of the fame and the respect he has worldwide."

Brown in addition to that declared that methods alike the ones developed at Beckham's academy in Greenwich, may be utilized to aid the Government's objective of each youngster having at least five hours of sports a week while in school.

Role models such as an athlete of his type have a big influence on a child’s life and Beckham himself made that suggestion and having accomplished it has made part of his dreams come true. Many have witnessed the impact the program has had on many teenagers and the way they become concerned about nutrition, diet and fitness. That is one of the reasons why he has support from all around the country in being an ambassador or doing anything in the 2018 World Cup.

The star currently plays for the MLS with the LA Galaxy in the United States after having achieved around 99 England caps and having captained his country between the years of 2000 and 2006.
